The practice
I've spent years in sustained conversation with AI. The valuable part was learning to see the assumptions inside my own questions: what actually arrived, what I inferred, what remains unknown, and what can happen next without confusing the map for reality.
The loop
Something becomes newly noticeable. We observe how we are seeing it. That honest distinction changes what can become noticeable next. Orientation, arenas, lacunae, turns, and proof are instruments that keep this passage inspectable.
The open work
YAWN.ai explains the loop. YAWN.bot reflects it back. The .yawn protocol helps the work keep context without pretending to own the truth. It is free, open source, and MIT licensed because the future should remain open to more than my view.

YAWN began with a simple realization: the work is not just getting more intelligence. It's awakening to observation.
Something becomes visible—a feeling, a message, a tension, a possibility. That is an awakening.
Then we observe the observation. What actually arrived? Where was I standing? What did I infer? What remains unknown?
If we do that honestly, the observation changes us. A new distinction becomes possible. We awaken again.
Awakening. Observation. Awakening. That is the loop.
Not awakening as final enlightenment. Not observation as reality captured whole. Just a deeper capacity to notice, test, and revise.

Underneath, a .yawn keeps continuity, an arena bounds the situation, a turn carries one movement, and proof shows what actually changed. Those are instruments. The purpose is the loop.
I'm not saying we solved reality. I'm saying we can meet it with more humility and build with intelligence from there.
